Budget
All film ideas should be produceable on an independent budget. Avoid expensive special effects, elaborate sets, or costly production elements. We’re looking for compelling stories, so no large-scale action scenes, fight sequences, or car chases.
Minimal Locations and Cast
Try to keep the number of locations and characters minimal to suit a limited budget. Ideal pitches should be achievable with a small crew, few actors, and simple settings.
Content
Content should be appropriate for a general audience. Explicit material, including graphic violence, nudity, and sexual content, outside of what you would see in a mainstream movie is not permitted (Terrifier; NO, Jennifer’s Body; YES).
No hate speech, discriminatory language, or portrayals of abuse.
